Alex Miller is an accomplished UK-based music producer, audio engineer, and educator with over a decade of experience bridging the gap between high-level studio production and academic instruction.

Alex is the first (and at present - the only) SSL Elite Instructor, and author of the official SSL Mixing 1 course, as well as an Avid Certified Expert Instructor.

Since beginning his career in traditional analogue recording studios in 2009, Alex has developed an expansive and versatile portfolio. As of 2026, his production work has garnered over 180 million streams globally, receiving regular airplay across major UK broadcasting networks, including BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC1, Channel 4, and various international stations.

Beyond the studio, Alex has extensive experience as a live sound engineer - touring internationally as well as working as a house engineer for several Manchester venues including the O2 Ritz, Gorilla, and New Century Hall.
